The UPAA would like to thank MaryBeth Allen and the rest of her EY team for taking the time to provide some information on their career and internship opportunities, as well as answer our questions and network with us. MaryBeth described some of the attributes that set EY apart from other companies, including their community service initiatives, workplace awards, and international travel opportunities. She also brought along coworkers from assurance and consulting, as well as someone who had interned there last summer. Each talked a little about their own experiences with EY, what influenced their decision to accept an offer there, and why they chose their particular line of work. They also fielded many questions about what they enjoy about their line of work and what they find challenging in their jobs.
Internship deadlines and the career conference are fast approaching. Make sure you have your resume up to date and you’re prepared for interviews. EY’s internship application is due by September 24.
