Braving the elements, a dozen members of the University of Pittsburgh Accounting Association (UPAA) turned out to raise money for the American Cancer Society on April 6 at the University of Pittsburgh’s annual Relay for Life.
The UPAA raised $2,000 from donations.
UPAA President Marissa Diehl (CBA/History ’15) felt pleased by the turnout and the efforts of the club.
“We participated in Relay for Life because we know that cancer affects so many on a daily basis,” said Diehl. “We wanted to help find a cure. I’m glad we were able to help the way we did.”
